Here is a great recipe for a snack that is packed with healthy fat and doesn't require any baking!
To make approx 20 Energy Balls:
What you will need:
1 Cup Gluten-Free Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Almond Meal
1/3 Cup Hemp Hearts (Hemp Seeds)
1/2 Cup Peanut or Almond Butter
1/3 Cup Pure Maple Syrup or Honey
1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup Dairy-Free mini chocolate chips
…and don’t forget to always buy ORGANIC!
What you will do:
– In a large mixing bowl, sift together the oats, almond meal, and hemp hearts.
– In a separate bowl, mix the peanut (or almond) butter, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until it is smooth and creamy. Pour this over the oat mixture, add the chocolate chips, and stir mixture until evenly combined.
– Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls, place them into an air-tight glass container, and enjoy!
